I love a green smoothie. Bottled store versions and the varieties from the local smoothie shops are often expensive and packed with sugar. Here’s a super healthy smoothie you can make at home for much less.
Chia Seeds, Spinach, knob of ginger, half avocado, few sprigs of fresh mint, half of a lime, fourth of a cucumber, 1/2 cup of pineapple, 1/2 cup of coconut water (add more or less to desired thickness), 1/2 cup of ice.
Blend until smooth.
TIP: freeze fresh fruit to add to smoothies.
